ADAC Workshop:
Introduction to Creating Next Generation Websites
This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the boatload of free software for making web sites that kick the pants off of Adobe Dreamweaver. Often referred to as Content Management Systems, this software puts content into a database and generates web pages on the fly when information is requested. Besides looking at a few of the most popular content management systems, this workshop touches on web hosting solutions, accessibility issues, search engine optimization, and the alphabet soup of acronyms that add to the mystification of “Web 2.0.” If you are interested in having Bill Mead give this presentation to your organization, please contact him.
Slides from the presentation are in Quicktime format.
